Telling our Stories: A Student's Creative Journey
Telling our Stories: A Student’s Creative Journey is an exhibition of selected works made in 2024 by students from Jewish schools across Melbourne – Bialik College, Mount Scopus Memorial College, Shalom Aleichem College and Leibler Yavneh College.
As part of their studies, students at these schools explore their family story through text as well as a creative response. Selected from more than 300 creative works, this exhibition showcases the work of 15 students. These works were selected because of their thoughtfulness, imagination and the strong execution of the idea.
These projects capture the diversity of experiences within the Australian Jewish community as well as showing how unique each individual story is. These works, by our future leaders, thinkers and creatives, reminds us that we learn from the past to create a brighter future.
