Sunday Sessions at the JMA: Joshua Moshe with Jonathan Skovron

3 November 2024
Sunday 3 - 4pm
Jewish Museum of Australia

To complement JMA’s latest exhibition A Secret Chord we invite you to a suite of musical programs. Join us for the first in our series of Sunday Sessions with  award-winning saxophonist, composer, and producer Joshua Moshe. This session promises an afternoon of jazz and genre-bending sound which celebrates our multicultural community, music, rhythm, and movement.

For this concert, Joshua will perform with Jonathan Skovron delivering their take on select traditional Jewish songs from across the diaspora and Israel spanning almost 1000 years, including piyuttim, niggunim, Yiddish and Ladino folk songs, and Mizrachi music.
