The Jewish Museum of Australia is proud to present Spotlight on HELMUT NEWTON, an ever-evolving digital catalogue and conversation dedicated to the exploration of Helmut Newton – his life, legacy and ongoing impact – through a contemporary lens.
Curated by our team, with the remarkable support of artists, writers, photographers, academics, journalists, performers and more, this assortment of thoughtfully commissioned responses to HELMUT NEWTON: In Focus offers the chance to delve deeper, consider longer, and contemplate more rigorously a life behind the lens.
We’re grateful to our many creative collaborators who have made this endeavour possible including, among others – Judy Annear, Ying Ang, Honey Long and Prue Stent, Petrina Hicks, The Huxleys, Nadja Sayej, and Susan van Wyk.
This space will be regularly updated with new and innovative responses from these, and other, creatives as they explore the possibilities of HELMUT NEWTON: In Focus.
