Sunday 10.15am (10.30am start) – 12.30pm
Madame Brussels (Caroline Hodgson) was one of the most famous brothel-keepers in 19th century Melbourne. Explore the Jewish connection to the city’s historical red-light district, including former pubs, synagogues, & warehouses – & houses of ‘ill-repute’ that once lined Lonsdale & Little Lonsdale Streets. Expert guide, Terry Ashton, will lead as you retrace the scenes of Madame Brussel’s so-called debauchery.
The meeting place will be sent along with your ticket.
